For his age, Harold is not very youthful. The only thing on his mind is death. Everything changes for him when he meets Maude, a personable granny who does not show her age. Even though they are like night and day, an unexpected friendship develops between them, full of ups and downs. The soundtrack of the film, which was nominated for two Golden Globes and has become a cult classic, was written by the one and only Yusuf/Cat Stevens.
