    Promotion of European Film

    Together with select members of the Slovenian Art Cinema Association, Kinodvor is participating in the shared promotional initiatives of two international cinema networks – Europa Cinemas and CICAE.

    European Art Cinema Day

    This initiative celebrating the diversity of European cinema is organised by the CICAE network, in collaboration with the Europa Cinemas network and co-financed by the Creative Europe MEDIA programme. Kinodvor has been part of this celebration since its inaugural edition in 2016, joining numerous cinemas worldwide. Typically held in October, the event aims to showcase the richness of European cinematic culture.

    European Cinema Night

    The Creative Europe MEDIA programme collaborates with the Europa Cinemas network to offer free screenings of European films supported by Creative Europe MEDIA in every EU Member State. The initiative aims to bring European films closer to citizens, while celebrating the unique richness and diversity of European culture. Launched in 2018, the initiative takes place annually in December.
