10th Kinotrip International Film Festival
The 10th edition of the international Kinotrip Film Festival, the largest event within Kinodvor’s Kinotrip – Youth for the Youth film programme, took place from 16 to 18 October 2025. The diverse film selection was carefully curated by eleven high-school students, members of the Kinotrip Film Club. The audience awarded the Kinotrip Audience Award to the film Where the Wind Comes From (Amel Guellaty, 2025).
Across seven festival screenings, 647 visitors—mostly young film lovers—embarked on cinematic journeys through various worlds. The festival welcomed several fascinating guests: Eya Bellagha, lead actress of Where the Wind Comes From, came from Tunisia. At the festival’s closing event, they were joined by the director of the Wild Foxes, Valéry Carnoy, and actor Fayçal Anaflous. Young participants also met online with Lkhagvadulam Purev-Ochir, director of City of Wind, and Carla Simón, director of Romeria. The latter film is still showing in Kinodvor’s regular programme.

All ten generations of Kinotrip joined forces to prepare the accompanying programme. Together, they created the Kinotrip Magazine – a fanzine featuring articles, exclusive interviews, a quiz to find out what type of moviegoer you are, a horoscope for Kinotrip’s future, and much more. And of course, there was music! Two musical performances opened the festival – one by Zarja Žagar, a.k.a. Aura Klavora, a member of the 7th Kinotrip generation, and another by the band Masaž, featuring Sinja Smokvina, a member of the 5th Kinotrip generation, Timotej Poznič, and Aleksander Cavazza.
