IMDb

Together for ten years, Francis and Sonia no longer understand each other. A one-time martial arts master, Francis is now the simple owner of a dry cleaning business, feeling like a shadow of his former self. His still perky partner Sonia teaches self-defence exclusively to women. While they try to save their relationship, Francis finds himself accused of the murder of his former rival, Ti-Kong. Fleeing from the police, he falls into the clutches of a rogue surgeon, Dr Sweeper, determined to defend male domination at any cost. Sonia then takes action to rescue Francis from Dr Frankenstein, save their relationship, and restore peace between the sexes.

“I wanted to talk about masculinity and masculinist excesses. And it was the character of Xavier Lacaille who crystallised this incel side. He's a frustrated, sad man who hates women because he's been humiliated, and in that, unfortunately, he's a representative of these men who hate women. But the idea was also to make him a slightly touching antagonist. I didn't want to show that men are just completely misogynistic assholes. Here the big bad is in total emotional distress.” (Jean-Baptiste Saurel)
