Andrew is a 19-year-old drummer who dreams of becoming one of the great jazz musicians of the nation. Practicing day and night at the conservatory, he comes a step closer to achieving his goal when Terence Fletcher picks him up to rehearse with the school’s elite jazz band. Andrew’s passion to achieve perfection quickly spirals into obsession as his ruthless teacher continues to push him to the brink of his ability and sanity. (English spoken)
