Rá, Culebro, Sere, Winny and Nano live on the streets of Medellín. The boys no longer have any contact with their families. They form a fraternal clan making their way in a parallel world without laws. The group leaves the city and enters the depths of the Colombian interior hoping to find a piece of land that Rá inherited from his late grandmother. Like thousands of other Colombians, she was once violently expelled by the paramilitaries. After her death, Rá received the "promised land" through a government restitution program. The boys make friends that help them advance but also warn them of the imminent dangers. It is a journey to nowhere, where everything happens.

"Without a shadow of a doubt an exceptional work. It’s more than just a film: it’s a hallucinogenic tale as cruel and painful as it is fascinating. /.../ We feel as if we’ve borne witness to an important work, a portrayal of a time and place which is as exhaustive and accurate as it is poetic and touching." (Cristobal Soage, Cineuropa)
