A girl Eami is wandering through the rain forest since her village and community have been destroyed. “Remember everything,” says the lizard – old man accompanying her. “Once we leave, we can never come back.”
Eami Eami
In Ayoreo Eami means forest, as well as world. Members of the Ayoreo-Totobiegoode tribe don’t see differences: to them, the trees, animals and plants that have surrounded them for centuries are considered as one.
