The story
The Little Tramp searches for gold in the remote wilderness of Alaska but his peace is quickly shattered when another prospector, just as hungry as him, starts to mistake him for a giant chicken… In a world where shoelaces become spaghetti and bread rolls turn into ballet shoes, alchemist Chaplin transforms gold into poetry.

The film was shown at the cinema on Kolodvorska Street from 5 to 7 June 1929 under the title Borba za zlato.

It is the story of two creative opposites: Darko Rundek and Srđan Sacher. Through candid conversations, a studio reunion, and a wealth of archival material, the film reveals how the two artists’ sensitivity to the magic of everyday life once united their creative worlds – creating a third.
