Let It Roll, Music Film Festival
Music has a power that everyone feels and experiences in their own unique way. Behind every track is a certain story. Behind the story are musicians, artists, emotions, ideas, place and time.
The new festival will present a spectrum of eleven different films for the whole gamut of different tastes in music and film: ten documentaries, which will get their Slovenian premieres at this festival, and one fiction film. They will be screened in three themed blocks: The Wall (for the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall), Anatomy of Fun and The Colours of Music.
In cooperation with the Jazz Festival Ljubljana, there will also be a bonus track on 18 June, where the actor and director Mathieu Amalric will personally present a unique film experiment, which he has been co-creating together with John Zorn since 2010. Of course, there will be no shortage of festival partying. We will party on the dance floor of the Let It Roll Open-Air Party on Friday, 14 June in The Cinema Courtyard.
