Only 4500 inhabitants reside on the 20,000km coastline along eastern Greenland, one of the most sparsely populated areas in the world. Untouched by civilisation, this wild environment has inspired one of the most specialised hunting cultures in the world. But faced with the rapid modernisation of the last century, the indigenous Inuit culture that had remained isolated and unchanged for 4000 years, has made dramatic changes and experienced the immediate effects of globalisation.

Directed by Jure Breceljnik and Rožle Bregarj, this documentary feature film explores the 4000 year old tradition of Inuit hunters in eastern Greenland, whose unique culture in an unforgiving natural environment is today threatened with extinction.
