IMDb

Courage, music and resistance are words that describe the documentary film set in 1976. England is in flames. Fascism and Nazism, fuelled by the National Front, are increasingly more aggressive. Youth is divided too; even music becomes a symbol of political ideology. But punkers do not give up that easily. They establish RAR (Rock Against Racism), a political and activist movement that brings together musicians of different races and calls for changes in society. But the struggle against intolerance and repression is not over by far.

White riot, I want to riot,
White riot, a riot of our own.”

Arsen Oremović

Saturday, 18. 07. 2026 / 19:45 / Small Hall

Third World is more than just a documentary about Haustor, the legendary Zagreb band that left its mark on the former Yugoslavia’s music scene. It is the story of two creative opposites: Darko Rundek and Srđan Sacher. Through candid conversations, a studio reunion, and a wealth of archival material, the film reveals how the two artists’ sensitivity to the magic of everyday life once united their creative worlds – creating a third.
