Following the formation of the Galactic Empire, a group of unlikely heroes led by former criminal Jyn Erso band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction, and provide hope in a time of conflict. The first stand-alone film in the Star Wars Anthology is an epic space opera directed by Gareth Edwards (Godzilla) and stars Felicity Jones, Ben Mendelsohn, Mads Mikkelsen and Forest Whitaker.
