Wonder Wheel Wonder Wheel

Woody Allen / USA / 2017 / 101 min / English

Woody Allen sets his latest feature at the picturesque Coney Island in the 1950s, where the lives of four characters intertwine.

In the hustle and bustle of Cony Island in the 1950s the lives of four people intertwine: Ginny, a melancholic waitress and former actress, Humpty, her coarse husband, Mickey, a handsome lifeguard who dreams of a writing career, and Caroline, Humpty's estranged daughter who is hiding from gangters in his flat.

Woody Allen's latest film is a story of love, transformation and the roles we play in the carousel of life. The film, set in the picturesque Cony Island of the '50s, is brought to life by cinematographer Vittorio Storaro and actor Kate Winslet. The concluding film of the 2017 New York Film Festival.
