A collective work of three directors, this documentary film depicts the traits of the young generation and shows us present-day Italy through its eyes. In addition, it faces us all with the question of what it is like to be young in our part of the world and what our shared future looks like.

Palestine in 1936. Uprisings against colonial rule are escalating. Yusuf, a peasant’s son, works for an influential family in Jerusalem, longing for a future beyond the unrest. With an increasing number of Jewish immigrants fleeing antisemitism in Europe and the Palestinian population uniting in the largest and longest uprising against thirty years of British rule, conflict seems increasingly inevitable.
