On the shores of Lake Geneva in the late 1970s two former small time crooks, Eddie and Osman, are trying to figure out how to pay the hospital bills for Osman’s wife. When on Christmas day 1977 Charles Chaplin dies, Eddie comes up with a brilliant idea: Let’s “borrow” the Tramp and ask the Chaplins for help.
