When three armed robbers die in an robbery gone wrong, their wives, who have seemingly nothing in common apart from the criminal debts of their husbands, decide to take destiny into their own hands. Director Steve McQueen (Hunger, Shame, 12 Years a Slave) and writer Gillian Flynn (Gone Girl) based the screenplay on a beloved televisual series of the 1980s.
