While her peers spend the last summer before adulthood partying, falling in love and having carefree adventures, seventeen-year-old Ivy faces a completely different reality. Her parents send her to a summer rehabilitation at what she calls "chemo camp", so she is convinced this will be the worst summer of her life. But instead she slowly begins to break down the walls she has built around herself and new friendships, first crushes, laughter and honest conversations help her accept herself and realize that she is not just "the girl with cancer," but above all, a girl searching for her place in the world.
