From 27 to 31 March, a technical day took place in the hospital wards of the Ledina Primary School at the Ljubljana Paediatric Clinic.<\/p>\n
On this day, children and young people had the opportunity to watch four selected short films, create and learn about how an animated film is made. For the film Drops<\/strong> (Karsten Kj\u00e6rulf-Hoop, Sarah Jungen, 2017), they made drops out of salt and watercolours and decorated the windows of the hospital rooms with them. For Spuffies<\/strong> (Jaka Ivanc, 2021), they used paper to make colourful trees with woolen gizmos. Alone in the Elevator<\/strong> (Anastasia Papadopoulou, 2020) took them on a journey to make a simple short animation using their mobile phones. They made a collage to accompany the funny film Fundamentals of Art<\/strong> (David Payne, 2020).<\/p>\n All the films with video tutorials are still available on the Film in the Hospital platform. All children and young people being treated in any hospital in Slovenia can get a free code to use it.
