It was hosted by <strong>Mark Reid<\/strong>, Head of Education at the British Film Institute. It opened with\u00a0<strong>Nikki Parchment<\/strong> and <strong>Corinna Downing<\/strong>, from the BFI Schools programme, who talked about their digital &#8216;Close-Up&#8217; programme for schools and teachers.<\/p>\n<p>At the following session,\u00a0<strong>Ivana Alpeza<\/strong> from the Seventh continent programme for schools and kindergartens in Croatia, and <strong>Barbara<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Kelbl<\/strong>, Head of Schools programme at Kinodvor, discussed some of the different ways in which their respective programmes went online whilst maintaining a focus on high quality experiences of cinema and learning.<\/p>\n<p>The next day event of the symposium was dedicated to film education in Scottish schools during the pandemic.
