We will honour the \u2013 both European and Hollywood \u2013 star with a screening of one of the most popular movies of her career, <strong>Casablanca<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Orson Welles was born in the same year as Bergman and \u2013 like her \u2013 had a reputation that swayed back and forth between being considered quintessential Hollywood and free-spirited European art film. We payed tribute to the artist who never ceased to experiment with the screening of <strong>The Lady from Shanghai<\/strong>, in its latest manifestation: a 4K restoration of the original nitrate negative.<\/p>\n<p>The last \u201cstar\u201d and \u201cstuff that dreams are made of\u201d whose centenary we marked in 2015 was <a href=\"http:\/\/100years.technicolor.com\/\">Technicolor<\/a>, the process that has been bringing glorious colours to the screen ever since 1915.
