The 10th edition of the international Kinotrip Film Festival<\/strong>, the largest event within Kinodvor\u2019s Kinotrip \u2013 Youth for the Youth film programme, took place from 16 to 18 October 2025<\/strong>. The diverse film selection was carefully curated by eleven high-school students, members of the Kinotrip Film Club. The audience awarded the Kinotrip Audience Award to the film Where the Wind Comes From<\/a> (Amel Guellaty, 2025).<\/p>\n

Across seven festival screenings<\/strong>, 647 visitors<\/strong>\u2014mostly young film lovers\u2014embarked on cinematic journeys through various worlds. The festival welcomed several fascinating guests: Eya Bellagha<\/strong>, lead actress of Where the Wind Comes From<\/a>, came from Tunisia. At the festival’s closing event, they were joined by the director of the Wild Foxes<\/a>, Val\u00e9ry Carnoy<\/strong>, and actor Fay\u00e7al Anaflous<\/strong>. Young participants also met online with Lkhagvadulam Purev-Ochir<\/strong>, director of City of Wind<\/a>, and Carla Sim\u00f3n<\/strong>, director of Romeria<\/a>. The latter film is still showing in Kinodvor\u2019s regular programme.<\/p>\n

All ten generations of Kinotrip joined forces to prepare the accompanying programme. Together, they created the Kinotrip Magazine<\/em> \u2013 a fanzine featuring articles, exclusive interviews, a quiz to find out what type of moviegoer you are, a horoscope for Kinotrip’s future, and much more.And of course, there was music! Two musical performances opened the festival \u2013 one by Zarja \u017dagar, a.k.a. Aura Klavora<\/strong>, a member of the 7th Kinotrip generation, and another by the band Masa\u017e, featuring Sinja Smokvina<\/strong>, a member of the 5th Kinotrip generation, Timotej Pozni\u010d<\/strong>, and Aleksander Cavazza<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
