Med u\u010diteljem in u\u010denko se skozi pogovore o\u00a0religiji, filozofiji in poeziji razvije prepovedana naklonjenost, ki ne ostane neopa\u017eena. Skozi kompleksen prikaz sufijevske doktrine se kljub o\u010ditno religiozni noti filma odvija ljubezenska zgodba, podobna tisti o\u00a0Romeu in Juliji. Jalili je kot vizualni mojster v\u00a0zvo\u010dno sliko, skoraj popolnoma pripadajo\u010do odlomkom iz Korana, spretno vpletel vizualne elemente z\u00a0dvoumno vsebino, ki zahtevajo pozornost gledalca. Prepletanje stoletja trajajo\u010dih tradicij z\u00a0vsakdanjimi samoumevnostmi, kot so letalski in avtomobilski prevozi, ustvarja zanimive anahronizme, ti pa niso edini adut\u00a0\u2013 po mnenju nekaterih\u00a0\u2013 najbolj izvirnega in ustvarjalnega iranskega re\u017eiserja. \u00bbWhen I\u00a0started my first film 25\u00a0years ago, it was about children in the prison that has been left over from the shahs&#8217; Pahlavi times.
