Joanna Quinn<\/strong> in Les Mills<\/strong> bosta odkrila tajne uspeha studia Beryl Productions International, ki ustvarja visoko kakovostne humoristi\u010dne risane animirane filme, poleg tega pa je svetovno znan med naro\u010dniki animiranih reklam.<\/p>\n

Les Mills<\/strong> po izobrazbi prihaja iz sveta umetnosti, saj je \u0161tudiral likovno umetnost na razli\u010dnih univerzah v Veliki Britaniji, nato pa na univerzi Rutgers v ZDA opravil magisterij. Ima bogate pedago\u0161ke izku\u0161nje. Sprva je pou\u010deval umetnost in oblikovanje, potem pa se za\u010del \u010dedalje bolj zanimati za filmsko umetnost in animacijo ter naposled pri\u0161el na \u010delo programa za film in animacijo na Fakulteti za umetnost in oblikovanje Univerze v Walesu v britanskem Newportu. Med pou\u010devanjem na visoko\u0161olskih ustanovah v Londonu je spoznal Joanno Quinn \u2013 ko jo je u\u010dil risanja (kako ironi\u010dno). Prvi\u010d sta sodelovala pri njenem diplomskem filmu \u017denski ve\u010der<\/em>, in sicer v \u010dasu, ko je pou\u010deval osnove animacije v programu grafi\u010dnega oblikovanja na univerzi Middlesex. Film uvaja junakinjo Beryl in predstavlja uspe\u0161en za\u010detek kariere Joanne Quinn kot animatorke svetovnega slovesa. Vse odtlej zelo tesno sodelujeta. Les Mills je bil scenarist in producent naslednjega filma z Beryl, Body Beautiful<\/em>, produciral pa je tudi\u00a0 film \u017denska iz Batha<\/em>, ki je bil nominiran za oskarja in je osvojil tri nagrade emmy. Leta 1987 je z Joanno ustanovil animacijsko produkcijsko hi\u0161o Beryl Productions International, ki je v zadnjih 23 letih ustvarila vrsto kakovostnih kratkih animiranih filmov in oglasov ter zanje prejela \u0161tevilne nagrade po vsem svetu. Les Mills je scenarist in producent njunega najnovej\u0161ega kratkega filma Dru\u017einske vezi<\/em>, prvega iz serije Sanje in \u017eelje<\/em>, ki je osvojila ve\u010d kot 42 pomembnih nagrad, med drugim evropsko nagrado Cartoon D’Or 2006. Joanna Quinn<\/strong> and Les Mills<\/strong> will reveal the secret achievements of Beryl Productions International, a studio known for high-quality hand-drawn comedy animations and a world-renowned producer of animated commercials.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

Les Mills<\/strong> comes from an art background having studied Fine Art at universities in the UK and finally completing a Masters Degree at Rutgers University<\/strong> in the US. His teaching experience is extensive, initially having taught art & design but gradually become more interested in filmmaking and animation culminating on being Course Director in Film and Animation at the School of Art & Design, University of Wales, Newport<\/strong>, UK. It was while he was still teaching at colleges in London that he met Joanna Quinn<\/strong>, ironically while teaching her drawing. He first collaborated with Joanna on her Graduation film Girl\u2019s Night Out<\/strong> while teaching basic animation on the Graphic Design course at Middlesex University<\/strong>. This film introduced the central character of Beryl<\/strong> to audiences and successfully launched Joanna\u2019s career as a world-class animator. From then on the two worked very closely together. He wrote and produced the next Beryl film Body Beautiful<\/strong> and produced Wife of Bath<\/strong> which received an Oscar <\/strong>nomination and won three Emmys.<\/strong> In 1987, together with Joanna Quinn, he formed Beryl Productions International<\/strong>, their animation production company, which over the last 23 years, has produced a range of high quality, short animated films and commercials, which have won many awards worldwide. Les wrote and produced their latest short film \u2018Family Ties\u2019<\/strong> the first part of the \u2018Dreams & Desires\u2019<\/strong> series which has won over 42 major awards including the European Cartoon D\u2019Or 2006<\/strong>.
