In a secluded town, Matej grows up in a family of people with special needs, feeling as different from his relatives as he does from the outside world. When his relationship with the mother of his daughter falls apart he finds himself in a complicated custody battle that leads him to take a radical act. The Family, a true story ten years in the making and without a screenplay, avoids sensationalism in search of true emotion.

Rok Biček (Class Enemy) records 10 years in the life of a young man growing up in an extraordinary family. Recipient of the Critics Week Award at the Locarno Film Festival and the Vesna Award for best feature film at the Portorož Film Festival in 2017.
